Fake Login Pages

There are alot of fake login pages out there waiting for you to visit them. For example, a login page could say: ‘Login here and you will be rich!’ These are just scams. Don’t even click on a link to a fake login page! Most of them steal your cookies! No, the cookies we are talking about are not those biscutes that you can eat. Computer cookies store your infomation, so you won’t have to set your avatar, siggie etc…every time you go on Neopets!

The Neopets Team Needs Your Password

You might recieve a fake NeoMail or E-mail saying that TNT (The Neopets Team) needs your password. They are NOT TNT! TNT will NEVER ask for your password. What’s the need? They own the site and can take a look at their databases and find your password. Do NOT type your password anywhere else other than the login page!

Shared/Public Computers

If you share a computer or use a public one, always remeber to log out before you leave! If you don’t, then the next person who uses the computer could just come along and destroy your account!

What To Do

If you have fallen for the fake login page, then change your Neopets password or any other accounts you have on the net, IMMEDIATELY!!!

Make a hard-to-guess password!
